Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2004
Great and simple recipe. We made it vegetarian by using a frozen soy product that is a meat substitute and it worked great. Otherwise, we followed the directions. We will definitely add this to our favorite menus. Thanks!

Tina's Best BBQ Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2004
We made this recently and it was a big hit, even with my kids. We used 3 large skinless and boneless chicken breasts and used a lot less marinade- about 1/2 cup lime juice and a little less than 1/2 cup olive oil but the same amount of spices and it was perfect.

Apple-Cinnamon Farfel Kugel

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
Very good and easy recipe. My family and friends are not big kugel eaters but we really enjoyed this. I doubled the recipe to make it in a 9 x 13 pan and it worked fine. The next time I made it, I cut down the sugar, added ground up almonds, raisins and dried cranberries. By the way -- you don't even need to peel the apples! I just put them in the processor (cored) but peel and all -- it worked fine.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2005
This is a wonderful apple pie. My daughters and I have made it many times now and it is always wonderful and easy. We use ready made pie crust and make a lattice crust on top. We pour most of the syrup on before we put the crust on -- then put the crust on -- then pour a little of the syrup over the crust. We made this all the time -- it is easy and always comes out perfect. It looks beautiful too!

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2005
What an easy recipe and it tastes so good. My daughter loves salmon and this is her favorite. It always works, always tender, always juicy and flavorful. I do however, cut the amount of oil in half and up the amount of lemon juice, just to save on the calories. Thanks!

Sesame Parmesan Zucchini

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2005
Great idea! My kids loved this but I did make some changes. Instead of olive oil, I used two tablespoons of low cal Italian dressing to save on fat and calories. My kids do not like sesame seeds so I left them out. I baked them in a deeper dish instead of in one layer and, of course, that takes longer. My kids loved it and so did I -- I will make this one again. Thanks!
