I really didn't like these cookies - even a little.

Ambrosia Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
I love this recipe! I agree with the others about reducing the coconut. And, I used chopped pecans (I am from Georgia after all) instead of the walnuts. Everything else remained the same. I get requests for this all the time.

Fried Green Tomatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
This is one SIMPLY amazing recipe! I've tried frying green tomatoes before and they were always adequate. After trying this recipe - the lemon/pepper seems to be the key - they are outstanding! The only thing I do differently is let them sit for a few minutes after I dip them in flour. When they get a little "tackiness" to them, the coating seems to stay intact a little better.

Corn pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
I'm actually surprised to see that no one has rated this recipe. I tried it last year for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. I had to cook it a little longer, but that is probably just a personal preference. I highly recommend this recipe. When I make it again, I will submit a photo as well.

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
Excellent recipe - just like Mom makes 'em! However, how I make them is to add a tablespoon or so of sour cream to the potatoes; and, I mix them with my mixer or bread maker! I found that my bread maker (getting little use these days) was perfect for making the creamiest mashed potatoes! I just turn it off after it goes through its initial cycle.

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
This recipe is simply delicious. It is so easy to make and tastes divine! I did reduce the orange juice just a little as it helped to give it a sturdier consistency. We ate the leftovers on english muffins - mmmmm, too good!

Best Ever Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
I give this recipe 5 stars only because truth be told, these are in fact muffins. They were sweet and cake-like. However, if you are looking for a "Cracker Barrell" style muffin - this is not the recipe to try!

Perfection! Best punch I've ever had. Thanks for the recipe. My aunt used to make this and I never thought to get the recipe - allrecipes.com saves the day again!

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2008
This was pretty good; however, if I make it again, I'll reduce the amount of broth by a cup and add a large can of tomato sauce. It was just tooooo beefy tasting - not enough contrast in flavor I think.

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
Excellent recipe! The only thing I changed (to eliminate the extra carbs) was to blend together melted butter, almond flour, splenda and cinnamon for the base instead of the vanilla wafers. Oops, I also used Splenda instead of sugar, but, I had to double the amount to get just the right amount of sweetness.

Excellent and Easy - two of my favorite things! This was a hit at our Super Bowl Party. Everyone loved them and wanted more when the platter was empty.

Simple and tasty. I can't imagine eating this with velveeta, much prefer the cheddar. Thanks for the great recipe.

Soda Cracker Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
What could be easier? This is easy and delicious. I get requests for this every year (and sometimes in the middle of the year). The only variation I make is I use crushed "nut topping." For some reason, I like the taste better. You'll love it - give it a try!

Wildfire Sausage Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
These were really good - but, I did make the following changes. First, I used Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage, as that's my favorite brand. I also added 1/2 pound of lean ground beef to the mix. I used half spicy bar-b-que sauce, and half honey bar-b-que sauce, and I added about a tablespoon of grape jelly. (Someone told me once to try it in my meatball sauce - I thought I wouldn't like it, but, I did!) That's it - my whole family loves em!

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2009
I was really hoping this would be "the" recipe. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I followed the receipe exactly, except I used half the vanilla after reading some other reviews. These cookies were not chewy at all. They weren't even as good as the recipe right off the bag of chocolate chips! Sorry Felix K., I have to say it ... "These aren't the best I've ever eaten."

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
This was another recipe that I was hoping would be "the" one. I wanted a restaurant-style spinach and artichoke dip recipe. This was not it. I followed the recipe exactly, so, I don't know what went wrong. I won't be making this one again. Sorry

Holy Cow! I haven't even finished making them yet and they are amazing! I ate a spoonful as I was getting ready to drop them and again, Holy Cow! These are easy and delicious. I used half crunchy and half smooth peanut butter. Perfect! Thanks

Arkansas Sin

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
Well, I almost gave it 4 stars, but then I thought, "why would I do that?" It is delicious, maybe not my very favorite appetizer, but again, it is delicious and easy to make. I didn't use the round bread, but rather baked it in a casserole dish.
