Black Bean Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2004
This soup is the best! Just finished making it and did a little additions. Added an extra can of black beans, groung beef, and chopped green pepper, and a little bit of diced green chiles. I'm very lucky, I have son-in-laws that will eat anything!

Rockin' Oysters Rockefeller

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2004
My family adored this recipe, the only time consuming part of the preperation was the scrubing of the oysters, otherwise this was such a big hit! I ask for the 48 oysters that it called for but had to by a "peck" which gave me a few extra. Not a problem....they all went!! I will be making this again and again.

Cream of Fresh Asparagus Soup II

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2005
Just finished making this soup. Out of this world!! I really like it. I did cut the stems off and added them to the completion of the soup.I really don't like sour cream but this certainly added a great flavor to the soup. I will make this one again...for sure!

Stuffed Artichokes

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
I haven't seen any mention of the thick stems that are on the artichokes. I look for the longest stems and I peel away the outer skin and then chop them up and mix them in the bread crumb and cheese mixture. What a treat! They get just as tender. Also I apply chopped garlic as well.Been making them for years.

Balsamic Green Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
I haven't seen any mention of boiled white potatoes to this dish. I do, and the outcome is wonderful. The potatoes soak up the oil and the red wine vinegar along with the fresh green beans and it is amazing. Having it set over night is a must.

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2004
I am truly a meatloaf lover and I wanted to try a different recipe, I really didn't like the slimey texture that the oatmeal seems to give it.Followed the recipe to the T.Not much of a flavor either in the meat. I'm going back to my old recipe with onions, parsley, garlic, bread etc. Then top the whole thing off with ketcup!! Sorry.
