I am a Canadian Expat living in Dubai who likes to cook for my family of 4 as well as friends on the weekends.
My favorite things to cook
Lasagna (all sorts),
Quesadillas, Fajitas,Burritos, Bolognese sauce, and ribs on the BBQ!
My cooking triumphs
Made our own Mexican meal from scratch, since we could not find prepared items in Budapest... Made our own tortillas, salsa, and chicken fajitas... It was delicious..and we did it all with the help of this great site.
My cooking tragedies
I made a pumpkin pie, and forgot to put in the brown sugar... it was the nastiest pastiest pie ever made!!!
