Silky Lemon Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
This was good but by grandpa thought it was awesome! My filling came away from the crust when I went to serve it. It was kinda strange. Probably was my error. All in all it's good. Probably will only make again for my grandpa again though

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
My kids devoured this bread within an hour. I did substitute half the oil with sour cream. It was a beautiful loaf but next time I might try half applesauce half sour cream instead of the oil. Thank you

Fruit Salad in Seconds

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
This was easy to make but the bananas will turn on you pretty quickly. I used Strawberry flavored cool whip along with the yogurt. Good and easy...

Freezer Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
I didn't like this at all. Not a pumpkin ice cream fan I suppose. It sat out and melted cause no one would take more than a sliver. My family's palatte didn't care for it. Thanks cool idea anyways.

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
This is a wonderful quick and easy side dish. I assembled it differently though. I made buttermilk ranch dressing according to the dry mix directions the night before. The next day I made everything else and then laddled the ranch into the bowl of pasta. I kept all the ingredients the same except for the above part. Wonderful.... and sooo good...

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
This is sooo Yummy!! The first batch I ended up burning a bit because I followed the receipes recommended temperture and cooking time. I think 200 degrees is a more accurate cooking time. At least where I live. Thank you.. This is so simple and easy. I'm putting some in my "movie bag" to take with us tonight thanks again.. Update: I made it again.... But I used cashews instead of peanuts and drizzled milk chocolate over the top after it came out of the oven. Put in the freezer for a fast 5 minute set up and it was to die for.... Can't wait to experiment again maybe with macadamia nuts...

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
Really good and easy. I made a few errors while interpreting the directions and it still came out beautiful and delicious. It was sweetened perfectly and it had a really nice crust... Thank you for sharing...

Crispy Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
It was good and crispy and a lot less calories than KFC. Just a few things, I didn't care for the oregano and will try dried parsley. I also added garlic powder and a little more chili powder than called for. I substituted butter milk for regular and it gave it a nice flavor. Thanks for sharing it was great..

I made these for Easter and they were the first dish to go. Super rich in taste and just good. I used Fontina cheese which tastes great and melts wonderfully. Thanks

Peanut Butter Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
To rich and sweet for me. Looked beautiful but way to much rich ingredients combined together. Almost like a peanut butter fudge. A little piece goes a long way. Thanks for the receipe. I do like to experiment.

Butternut Squash Bisque

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
This is so good... Creamy and delightful. Here's my tip, I peel my squash with a potato peeler. It takes a whole two minutes to peel the entire thing. Thanks for the receipe.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
We really liked this soup. It has a good flavor. Only thing I changed was add a few hotter spices and cooked the chicken inside the crock pot with the other ingredients. Thank you. Super quick, simple and easy...

This was a good recipe but a little drier than expected. Perhaps I will substitute 1/2 cup of buttermilk next time. It had a nice flavor.. Thanks for sharing

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
These were good but not much taste. They are missing something, "flavor". I followed the recipe and they are easy to make and do bake up like the picture. Not sure I will make these again.
