Chicken Pot Pie IX
I followed others and added potatoes to the recipe. In addition, instead of making the liquid mixture, I used Glico's Japanese curry as the sauce. I simply boiled the chicken and vegetables, drain them (but kept the hot liquid) and melted the curry in the liquid. I made sure that everything is cooled before putting the filling and sauce onto the pie crust. It also helps to pre-bake the bottom crust for 3-5 mins to prevent the crust from being soggy.

Chef John's Caramel Apple Pie
This pie is easy to make and extremely delicious! I followed the recipe exactly, with the exception of adding 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour to the butter and sugar mixture. As long as the pie is allowed to cool completely, it will not be watery when cut.

Chef John's Baked Lemon Pepper Salmon
This recipe is easy to follow and the taste is amazing! I skipped the miso paste as we don't have this in the kitchen. As for the baking time, my salmon fillet was ready in 8 minutes and the insides were so juicy and delicious. For beginners, this is definitely one great recipe to follow!
