Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II
Added a little cherry juice to the dough. Sprayed the pans because others said the sauce was sticking to the pan and where it dripped, it did. Used trader joes Morello cherries and they were great. Used dark chocolate in the sauce and glad I did. They weren't too sweet but very chocolaty. Other than the tops being sticky, these were great. I got 32 cookies, not 18 and frosted them before baking.

Japanese Nabeyaki Udon Soup
Unfortunately I had chicken broth and not dashi. I'm sure this would be perfect if I were using the right ingredients. As it was, I thought it was great and will certainly make it again.

Bread and Butter Pickles II
used less sugar and salt but this was very good and very similar to a recipe I have from an old cookbook on preserving. I'm making them again and that says a lot!
