Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch
Oh yes, this is a delicious and very quick way to make a lovely rhubarb dessert. Company was already coming through the gate; I'd just finished cutting up the rhubarb & strawberries... While a guest was watching me, I just threw the fruit right into the baking dish with the flour and sugar. Then, as we chatted, I put the rest of the ingredients in to a large bowl and blended with my pastry blender. Exception: added only ONE cube of butter (1/2 C) vs. two and a little milk for moisture. Tossed the mixture on top and put it in the oven, setting the timer. Dinner was just over and buzzzzzz. Warm, fabulous dessert ready! "Would you like vanilla ice cream or salted caramel with your crunch?" There was a lot of silence and chewing and mmmmming during dessert. :-D THANKS, MICHELLE!

Vegetarian Kale Soup
This soup was very good. However, I did add extra garlic and my own blend of Italian seasoning. Delicious in bread bowls from Panera Bread Co. Call ahead and they will have them ready for you--already cut! My only complaint about this soup is that the kale was still a bit tough after cooking. Maybe the kale I bought was a little overgrown, rather than young and tender... Thanks for a great recipe.

Elizabeth's Extreme Chocolate Lover's Cake
Worth EVERY CALORIE. A delicious, moist, deeply chocolate cake... the kind one craves with a glass (or several glasses) of milk. Tip: One of those big 1lb (?) chocolate bars from Trader Joe's--the darkest one, is just enough chocolate for this cake. And it's just $5 bucks; amazing deal for Belgian chocolate. It is 72% cacao if I recall and has just a touch of sweetness, so I adjusted the sugar in the recipe down just a bit--like 1/2 cup. Anyway, THANK YOU ELIZABETH, for your extremely good Extreme Chocolate Lover's Cake!
