Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2004
My whole family LOVED this pasta dish, even my very picky son. This makes a huge batch. The recipe says 8 servings, but it is more like 16 servings. I added some fresh garlic with the meat and onions, and used Prego with fresh mushrooms. Delicious!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2004
Truly, to die for! I did not change any ingredients and they turned out perfectly. I did not fill the cups full as other reviewers said they may overflow. Yum! I used all of the topping and we thought they were perfect.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2004
My whole family LOVED this chicken. We even got into an argument over the leftovers! I did not have any garlic salt so I used garlic powder plus salt. I had enough crumb mixture to do 5 chicken breasts, so I threw in the extra one. Very, very good and flavorful.

Bacon Mushroom Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2004
Yum! Tons of flavor. I used boneless, skinless breasts and cooked for 40 min. I also cooked the bacon and crumbled it over each piece. I used a bit of extra cream and whisked in 1 tsp. flour to help the sauce thicken up. Very delicious.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2004
Very tasty! I used butter instead of olive oil and used Italian style bread crumbs since that was all I had. It turned out great and everyone loved it.

Honey and Flaxseed Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2004
Excellent! You MUST grind the flaxseed in order to receive any health benefits - otherwise it will pass through whole and you will miss out on all of the nutritional benefits. It is very hard to find high quality whole wheat bread recipes and this one is awesome. Try it!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2004
This chicken is delicious!! My whole family loved it - even the picky kids. I used the reduced sodium teriyaki as others suggested, but reduced the amount by about half I also used fresh bacon, cooked and crumbled. Save a bit of the cheese to sprinkle over the bacon and onions - it will keep them from drying out. I served with rice and scooped some of the pan drippings over the rice. Yum! Can't imagine anyone giving this one less than 5 stars.

Stupid Simple Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2012
I have been roasting chickens for almost 30 years and this is the best method I've tried. I placed a local free-range chicken on a rack, and followed the instructions (only had half of a lemon on hand). The chicken yielded very little drippings (good sign--the juice stayed in the bird). The drippings were mostly dried out and a very deep brown--the makings of a great gravy. I added some potato water (poured off from the red potatoes I boiled for mashing) to the roasting pan and scraped up every last bit of the browned bits, poured it into a saucepan and thickened it with cornstarch for the best gravy I've made (NO added broth or flavor enhancers). The chicken was juicy, tender and delicious. Thank you for sharing the recipe!
