Honey Ginger Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
Great marinade, need to sit for awhile, I did about 1/2 hour and it could've used a stronger taste.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
Can't get enough of these cookies! I halve the choco chips in them, the batter is not enough to hold 2 cups. Made recipes exactly as is, minus the 1 cup chips.

Very good and easy, needed way more than 2 Tbsp cream.

Monster Cookies VI

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
Halved the recipe, made as is EXCEPT used 1-1/4C oats and 1C flour, I really think this made all the difference. Even with this substitution, the cookies were gooey and crumbly (just perfectly though). Great taste, best when completely cooled.

Texas Ranch Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
This was easy and excellent! I did not use any oil, and just poured enough ranch dressing over chicken to cover it and make a little sauce. Have used various cheeses. Yes, it tastes like ranch....it's supposed to.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Unbelievable!! Put it in a bread bowl (forgot the grated cheese), the whole thing went. I did not think it too spicy, just perfect, tastes EXACTLY like a jalapeno popper from the pizza shop.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
No big deal...were a little softer than a regular cookie originally, but crisp by the next day.

Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
The pork tasted great, it did not make a great sauce, but you need to cook it in all that for the pork to be so good. I made another thicker sweet & sour sauce from this website to go over it and rice. Great starter, just needs better sauce!!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Halved the recipe (using only 1C sugar and little less than 1/2C oil) for muffins and it was EXCELLENT!! Moist and dense after 20 min. Perfect!!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2008
NOT fudgy or chewy. In fact, a little dry and crumby, and I did not overbake them. Too bad.

We all loved these, they didn't look too bad. Omitted nuts.

Beer Battered Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
Was a very good batter, I do agree it was bland and I did let is sit awhile before using. All it needed was some black pepper and onion to spice it up. Thanks!

Vegan Apple Carrot Muffins

EXCELLENT muffin! It is very hard to find a low oil/fat one that does not come out rubbery, but this recipes has solved that! Thanks for the great snack!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2008
Good enough. The frosting did not have enough cherry in it and the cookie alone (once the cherry was gone) was no big deal. I will make again putting some cherry juice in the cookie and a lot more in the frosting (which I drizzled on after baked). Good concept though!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
I'll admit, I just used this recipe as a base; I rolled apples (with cinnamon) in crescent rolls, poured melted butter on top and sprinkled more cinnamon and sugar. Came out perfect for the use (classroom apple party). Maybe I'll try the sauce sometime, but I don't think it's necessary, they were a great treat without!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2007
Best mushroom EVER! Makes enough filling for way more than 12 mushrooms, sometimes I use the extras on crackers. Do not need filling to cool before mixing it with cheese, when it's hot, it mixes better (softens it up). Love these!

Have made this MANY times, even my 5 yr old helped. Did not change a thing, definitely use whiskey, gives it such a different flavor mixed with all the sweet chocolate and banana!

Honey Lemon Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2007
Excellent cookie! Did not come out like picture, flattened out a bit, but a quarter cup more flour should help that next time. Used lemon yogurt instead of plain. Flavor is perfect, not too honey or too lemon, but a great blend. Cookie looks cake-like, but is almost chewey when bitten into. Love it!
