About this Cook
I love to cook and dance. Not always at the same time but if you throw a couple beers in there... :) I waitress at a little restaurant called Wings Ect. I often daydream of moving far away from Indiana and I'm working hard to make it happen. I am completely in love with my husband to-be, Jason and I strive to be the kind of woman he had always wanted. I cook for him as often as I can and love to try out new meals on him. Even if he doesnt haha. I also frequently cook for a brood of seven other siblings so I'm always looking for mass recipes that are easy on the budget.
My favorite things to cook
Creamy, carby, fattening, high calorie, not-at-all-good-for-you delicious dishes. I'm up to cook anything that interests me (sometimes even if its healthy!). My favourite dishes are Fettuccine Alfredo, authentic pork tacos, Mediterranean dishes, spring rolls, raspberry almond cookies and spicy soups.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother doesnt cook, so me and Jason will be starting our own family tradition.
My cooking triumphs
The look on their face after that first bite. My most rewarding moment is when my little sister loves my food. She may be only 13 but she is a crazy food critic. The most delicious food I ever made was, believe it or not, fried wings. Those go down in history. Sweet honey barbecue, garlic Parmesan, and spicy barbecue. So Fresh, so hot.. I made them for the superbowl but it ended up taking all the way to the end of the game so i didnt even have to watch it :D I lucked out on that one. Sitting down to a five or six course meal after a fantastic cooking marathon is also extremely gratifying but I save those moments for my someone special.
My cooking tragedies
Recipes that look so good and get rave reviews but end up in the trash are incredibly disappointing. I often have this problem with Thai food. Also, I will never attempt to make General Tsao's chicken ever again.

Almond Cupcake with Salted Caramel Buttercream Frosting
This is a wonderful recipe. I like how the cake balances out the sweetness of the frosting. The only thing was, I had waaay too much frosting left over. But, I could be the only one with this problem. And do be advised- This will knock out a serious sweet tooth! Overall, great recipe. ps I made no changes.

Salisbury Steak
Absolutely disgusting. I am very reluctant to leave a negative review and find no pleasure in it at all but I believe everyone needs to know how awful this recipe is. Apparently, the ratings are all based on the cooks personal alterations, which I believe is an extremely misleading way to rate a recipe. I cooked this in a huge hurry not reading the reviews like I usually do, thinking "great, this looks like a fantastic recipe, lots of stars I think I'll try it" But no, I feel terrible for feeding this to my family. KETCHUP?!?!!! I should have trusted that I am no longer a novice cook and I know better than to put ketchup into a salisbury steak. I am very upset with myself for trying this recipe, I wasted a perfectly good pound and a half of meat that I could have put to much better use. Dog food, perhaps.

Clark's Quiche
WOW. This recipe is PERFECT! It's absolutely delicious! I didn't and wouldn't change a thing about it. Each member in my family had half a pie. Thank you Clark!!!
