Corned Beef and Cabbage II
I grew up on my grandma's corned beef and cabbage on St. Paddy's Day, which she overcooked until dry and stringy. Understandably, I shied away from corned beef and cabbage for many years, until persuaded to try it well into my adulthood. It's recipes like this one that have convinced me that corned beef can in fact be juicy, flavorful and delicious; thank you for rescuing me from a bleak culinary memory!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I've never had good luck with chocolate chip cookies; they either turn out too puffy, too flat, too cakey, too (fill in the blank here). This recipe is exceptional. It's exactly the way I want a chocolate chip cookie to be; a little crispy on the outside, molten and chewy on the inside. Especially when made with high-quality bittersweet chocolate chips instead of I'm in love.

Blueberry Buckle
Delicious! I made a few changes based on what I had: one cup of blueberries with one cup of chopped, peeled plums; whole wheat pastry flour instead of all-purpose, and all brown sugar. I also added a squeeze of orange juice and the zest of half an orange. The cake was very light and moist; I'll definitely make this again!
