Leslie's Broccoli, Wild Rice, and Mushroom Stuffing

A new family favorite stuffing! My grandparents loved it, and I think we will be making this for now on instead of the traditional stuffing. I really enjoyed the wild rice, broccoli, and mushrooms, as it enhanced the stuffing. I used 1 1/2 cans of chicken broth or so. I added about 1/4 cup of thinly sliced celery. I sprinkled almonds on top. I used only 1/4 cup ( 4 Tb) of margarine. Very tasty and very filling!

Rice with Black Beans

I get Instant Uncle Ben's Brown Rice for which you microwave it for 90 seconds. I add a can of Italian diced tomatoes and a can of black beans. I sometimes add zucchini. I also add dried basil and oregano. It's delicious and quick and hearty!

Jo's Rosemary Bread

This bread is one of my favorite now! I love rosemary and bread, and combining the two is even more delightful! To make it even better, I used milk instead of water, used a little less salt, used a pinch more of rosemary, and used about 3/4 cup of whole wheat flour instead of 3/4 cup of bread flour. Excellent served with olive oil and pasta!

Cold Macaroni and Tuna Salad

Excellent! So refreshing and tasty! I added broccoli, peas, carrots, celery, radishes, and onion! All the veggies and tuna make it so healthy and delicious! Will make often!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Excellent! Soft, gooey, flavorful! The best oatmeal cookie we've made yet! We researched what makes a gooey soft cookie and adjusted the recipe slightly. Also, we added walnuts, raisins, and more spices like the other reviews. Otherwise, we followed the cooking instructions for eight minutes and it turned out great!

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

This biscuit recipe was excellent. I used honey instead of sugar, used 1/2 whole wheat flour and 1/2 regular flour, and baked them on a baking stone. They turned out excellent! Next time I plan to double the recipe, add more wheat flour (I love grains), use cake flour in replace of the all purpose flour, and refrigerate over night to relieve me of hazzle for the morning I bake them.

Chris' Bay Area Burger

Excellent flavor! I only cook with ground turkey, and the flavor was very complimenting! The garlic and basil tasted so well with the condiments - lettuce, avocado, tomato, ketchup/spicy mustard, and red onion. All the ingredients I had on hand, expecially the basil which I grow in my garden. I will make it again!
