Awesome Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2013
Great idea to bake it but just not enough cheese - you are eating mostly bread. Try adding a slice of mozzarella and a slice of swiss. Taste nice and cheesy with three cheeses....

Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2012
Excellent!!! I added 1/2 tsp. of ginger and 1/4 tsp. of curry powder and it just gives it that extra flavour with the combined vegetables. The curry is so slight - no one knows it's there but me. I've made this soup many many times and my family and my guest love it and always ask me for the recipe. I like it because most recipes call for cream but this one is just fine as is - great for people with lactose intolerance problems! Thank you for sharing your recipe with us!!!!

Buttery Soft Pretzels

I made this recipe today - so easy to make. I am not partial to too much salt so I sprinkle them with sesame seeds instead and they were yummy. Love them - will definately make them again... Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Recipe sounds yummy but this a formula for a heart attack to clog your arteries. 930 calories is way too much - looks good but no way... Sorry

Garlicky Quinoa and Garbanzo Bean Salad

Absolutely excellent salad - I served it cold and it was really refreshing with that lemony dressing. Great with BBQed meats and a simple lettuce salad. Thank you for sharing this recipe jjane 123 with the rest of us... Definately a keeper.

Great Garlic Bread

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
Great recipe - yummy - everyone loved it. So simple to make only I used fresh crushed garlic instead as I didn't have garlic powder. It was much more tasty and delicious...

Albondigas

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
This soup is wonderful but I found it a bit bland and added a mix of dried beans which made even more hardy and tasty. We ate it with a freshly baked loaf of bread - perfect dinner on a cold night... Thank you for the recipe...

Zucchini Chocolate Orange Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
This is an excellent cake - so tasty and moist. One bit of warning though - it overflows in the rose shaped Bundt pan - make sure to use the regular size Bundt pan... Will definately keep it in my favourites... Thank you AHUSIOW

English Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
Excellent and yummy - I took short cuts by using a lemon pound cake bought from the store, lemon pudding and some lemoncelo liqueur if serving to adults - also couldn't find blueberries so I substited with a can of crushed pineapple with the juice - wow - so many compliments from everyone. Topped it with Light Cool Whip and decorated with small pieces of sugared pineapple pieces and strawberries. Thank you for this recipe....

Mom's 'Sweet 'n' Sours' Pork Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
Great recipe but as one of the other comments, I didn't have dry mustard - substituted 1 tblsp. grated fresh ginger and it gave the recipe an extra zing. Also, I substituted brown sugar for the white - came out delicious. This recipe is a keeper...

Santiago's Stuffed Squid

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2006
I altered the recipe slightly by mixing 1/2 the bread, tomato, onion, spices & wine with the fish/shrimp mixture. Then I stuffed the squid. Baked it covered with the other 1/2 that was processed. It turned out excellent... A big hit in our house... You should try it - it gives the stuffing more flavour...

Stuffed Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2006
I don't understand the people that didn't like this recipe - they must have done something wrong. This recipe was a winner with my family - I did alter it a bit though. Instead of putting the stuffing on top I sliced the thick chops along the side with a small opening and stuffed it. It was absolutely wonderful - my family wants me to make it again. Thank you Tina...
