I grew up on the Gulf Coast with the influence of Mobile, Biloxi, and New Orleans cooking. Gumbo, shrimp creole, crawfish boils and crab boils were the best time I had in my life. My Mom would put garbage bags on the tables and she would dump all the seafood, corn and potatoes directly on top of the table cloths made out of trash bags. I wish I could go back. That was a very good time with family.

Simple recipes. I have a hyper 5 year old and I like to include him when I am cooking! He stays out of trouble when he is with me.

Grilled steak brushed with Low Sodium Dales Seasoning. Grilled oysters with garlic butter, ribs on the grill. Red beans and rice.
