I am from the Midwest so traditionally I love fried foods. Although they do not love me, I rarely fry anymore.

I am good at looking in my kitchen and putting together a wonderful meal in less than an hour. I like to be creative and healthy.
My cooking tragedies
Once, a long time ago, I wanted to make shrimp cocktail and I have never worked with shrimp before. I asked for cooked shrimp but got raw shrimp. I did not know the difference and when I served raw shrimp with pride I was the talk of the evening.
One time I made a batch of cookies and put salt instead of sugar. That first bite was quite the experience.
