Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2015
This was the best banana bread recipe, EVER. I did add some my own personal favorites. I made two loaves, instead of 4 and used 1/2 whole wheat pastry flour and 1/2 white all purpose flour. I used baking Stevia in the Raw, instead of sugar 1 cup. I added more walnuts, vanilla and cinnamon than the recipe called for and I added chocolate chips so my picky son would try it. Delicious and soooo moist. Will do it this way again.

Eggnog Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2014
I gave this recipe a try and it was absolutely great. I cannot stop eating it. I did a few minor changes for my liking. I added more nutmeg and rum than called for. I would recommend only two boxes of cream cheese. There was filling left over and the pie pan was filled. I did make the crust fill the pan though. Thanks for the recipe

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2014
This was the BEST PEACH COBBLER when I added some advice from one of the reviews on Sept. 15, 2008 I followed the recipe and used my peaches that I canned last year. I made the batter from whole wheat all purpose flour and Stevia for sugar sub and spread it on top. I will do this recipe again. Thanks it will be even better with whipped cream or ice cream on top.

Spinach and Bacon Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2014
Loved it. I used the ingredients recommended and I did change a couple of things. I used half and half only and used fresh spinach. I made my own pie crust with whole wheat all pastry flour. It was delicious. I added a lot of tobasco like hot sauce and more Worchester sauce than the recipes called for. My husband likes the hot, and he loved the quiche. Will certainly make it again.

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2013
great, easy recipe that is delicious. I also replaced white flour and sugar with oat flour and Stevia. I used 1/2 cup of butter also in stead of the full cup. It turned out great. I used frozen tri berries. My boyfriend is borderline diabetic. He can eat it. I will certainly make it again for our sweet tooth fix.

Carrot Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2013
I have baked these a few times and every time they turn out the same, dependably good. I use Bobs no gluten all purpose flour which is Garbanzo flour and half whole wheat flour. I also add more crushed pineapple 20 oz drained. I used 1 cup Xylitol sweetener and added a little molasses for flavoring.I also added a zucchini. I needed to eat. I did not make the cream cheese filling but I did it the first time I baked these. Really good when sweetened with the pineapple juice. Will continue baking these this way once a week.

Cod Curry

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2013
This was delicious!!! I didn't have individual spices so I used Garam Masala spice mix (easy to find in stores) it has the cumin, Coriander, Cardamom, Ginger and more spices in it. I used fresh garlic and fresh jalapenos from my patio garden.Forgot to add cilantro.Found I didn't need it. It was so good that I had seconds on fish, which I never do. My guy really liked it also. Served with brown rice and peas on the side.

Banana Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2013
I found this recipe to be easy.I even made it healthier, for me. I used almond milk and lactose free whipped cream from a can. I did use the softened cream cheese and found it to be agreeable to my milk intolerance.I layered the bananas and strawberries on he bottom of my pre made graham cracker crust, and topped with bananas and blueberries. It was delicious!!!! Would make it again and again.I also reduced this recipe in half and made one pie.

Firecracker Scallops

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2013
I used fresh garlic, lots of it, and made more of the butter/bacon/horseradish (my own ratios) sauce and used small scallops. It was delicious over brown jasmine rice and topped with scallions. Will make it again.
