Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
WAY WAY too sweet, even after adding some chicken stock and 1 TBSP soy sauce. It definately has potential. Next time I'll try less honey and more stock.

Japanese Chicken Wings

Wow, I love these. Only change I made was to use minced garlic out of a jar because I didn't have garlic powder. I served these an appetizer for a New Year's Eve Party.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2005
Guaranteed to cause a minor heart attack with all the fat, but that's what makes it so good. We had this Christmas morning, and the first word out of Grandma's mouth was "oh WOW".

My kids loved it. It wasn't out of this world, but it was pretty good. I added a bit more ice cream.

These are pretty good. Perhaps a bit mustardy, but I enjoyed them.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2005
I changed this recipe to 72 servings, so perhaps it was part of the problem, but the mixture was very dry - too dry too mix up, so I added a bit of warm water to moisten. Then they were great! (they did spread a bit because of the water)

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2005
I guess I just expected a lot more from this recipe. It seemed a bit rich, but not flavorful. My husband asked me to never make it again. I think it was just average.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
I did make 2 changes (subs garlic salt for the garlic powder and seasoning salt) and (unseasoned bread crumbs and italian seasoning for the italian-seasoned bread crumbs). My husband and I just thought it was plain and uneventful. I guess we have flavorful pallets. It wasn't ghastly or anything, it just wasn't all that great. My apologies to the chef for this rating on a recipe that everyone seems to enjoy. Keep enjoying everyone...

Quick Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2005
I made a few modifications, but it turned out fabulous. I used cream of celery and cream of chicken soup for the cream soups. I used fresh broccoli (that I steamed 1/2 way done before cooking the dish) instead of frozen broccoli and I added a pint of homemade chicken stock to make it a little soupy. When it was all cooked, I added cooked egg noodles to it and turned it into a casserole. I was having a bible study group over and they loved it.

Amusement Park Cornbread

Wow. I've tried a few cornbread recipes before and my husband did not like them. He devoured this one and I had to keep him out of it before dinner.
