Soft Sugar Cookies V
This deserves absolutely no stars. I made it as stated except cut the nutmeg in half. Disgusting. I like nutmeg, however it was still overpowering. I made another batch without it altogether, and they still tasted like nothingness. Just Ick. No frosting could save them!!!

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
I wanted a more chewy sugar cookie as opposed to the thin crispy kind. I made these cookies using another's suggestion. I used 1 1/2 cups sugar, 8oz. cream cheese, 1 tsp. vanilla and 3 1/2 cups flour. The cookies tasted very bland. I did taste the cheese which made it a little rich, which I liked, but there was no other taste. Adding more sugar would just seem pointless. I would start with a whole different recipe.

French Toast I
Definitely do not use all the suggested nutmeg - 1/8 tsp. will be plenty! I used plain old white sandwich bread and just did a quick dip in the batter. I used 7 slices. cooked on med to med-hi heat. my boyfriend loved it!
