About this Cook
I love being a mom and love surprising my family with something new for supper. Even better if I managed to pull it off and they love it!
My favorite things to cook
I am a baker really. I love baking delicious treats, and it's even better if people really love it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom calls it Minced Meat and Mashed Potatoes but it's really not. More like a ground beef with carrots in onion gravy on mashed potatoes.
My cooking tragedies
I learned the hard way that the microwave popcorn still needs to be watched even if there is a button on the microwave that says 'Popcorn'... it actually caught on fire!!

Cowboy Cookies III
Yummy! Next time I make them I will make them bigger! I made them using a 1/2 TBSP measuring spoon and they are kid sized. But I like em big. I will be making more tomorrow and maybe the next day! New favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe for when I have butter and eggs!

Cream Cheese Frosting I
Tasty frosting but not the consistency I was looking for. Maybe I made a mistake because I couldn't get it to look like the pictures in which the frosting was used as decoration. Mine slid off and lost it's edges quickly.

Moist, Tender Spice Cake
Made exactly to the recipe, except for a tiny mistake. Stop mixing when the mix looks like tiny pebbles, I kept beating until it turned into a thick paste. I think this may have compromised my moistness and texture. But it was still good andnext time I might add some more spices. I frosted with Cream Cheese Frosting I, which is delicious but a bit runny.
