Benny's Famous Jalapeno Poppers

These are sooo good. I prefer them baked to avoid grill flavor & cheese spilling everywhere. 420 degrees for roughly 40 mins (or until bacon is cooked to liking) in the middle rack usually does the trick. Or to quicken it up pre cooking the bacon about half way on a skillet will speed up the baking process. Hope this helps! So happy to have found this recipe

Country Sausage Gravy

I'm a biscuits&gravy fanatic!! & I gotta say this recipe is perfect! I followed the advice of pre mixing the milk and flour before adding it to the skillet. I also was low on milk so did 1 c milk, 1 c water & 1 c heavy whipping cream as a substitute. The gravy came out beautifully! Perfect consistency. Will use this from now on

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I've never had chicken cordon bleu before but my hubby requested it for dinner tonight. Originally I was a tad weary of mixing two different animal meats but I followed all instructions, substituted the butter with olive oil, the wine with sherry cooking wine and my oh my how delightful!! So good. Just before the chicken was done I added fresh picked pearl oyster mushrooms to the skillet and let them cook for a few minutes. I then made the sauce leaving the mushrooms in and it was so good! I love this app!!!

Broccoli Ham Ring

I left out the mustard and lemon but it came out very good. Makes for a good sandwich:) Used honey raspberry glazed ham leftovers from Easter.

Flatlander Chili

Best chili ever!! Im new to cooking so I was a little nervous on how it'd turn out and it was amaazing. I just add a little more cumin, chili powder and blended fresh tomatoes for the tomato juice as well, left it a little chunky. Yummmmy. Making another batch right now only half the size this time. :) and I NEVER write reviews so that alone makes a statement:) thanks a ton!
