Amazing! They do taste like donuts, and yes, the fresh nutmeg really is the secret! The recipe made exactly 24 for me and those are going fast! Love!

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2012
Delicious! I had to omit the seasoning salt and use turkey bacon due to DH's diet although next time I will use regular bacon (my preference!). DH says it's his favorite chicken dish now and I can fix it this way all the time! Thank you!!

Beer Cheese Pretzel and Dip

Reviewed: May 21, 2011
I made the cheese dip only. It is less labor intensive as my previous recipe and superb! I added some Frank's hot sauce for body and a touch of cayenne and served with club crackers. Wonderful recipe!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: May 30, 2010
Wonderful and just what I was looking for. I followed directions except I mixed everything in a bowl before pouring in the casserole. I also added, for personal preference, some dry mustard and grated nutmeg. My new favorite and so easy. No more white sauce recipes for me!!

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2009
This is so good and so easy! I've made it twice using a sliced Smithfield ham and it wonderful. The 2nd time I sprinkled ground cloves on the sugar and used a can of pineapple chunks. When I reheated the leftovers, I added cornstarch to the liquid to make a gravy. Fabulous!

Excellent recipe! I left out the pimento (don't like them} and added French's french fried onion rings to the top. Great comfort food!

BLT Salad

Reviewed: May 27, 2008
So delicious. My go-to salad recipe when I want something special! Update: I have also made pasta salad with the dressing (adding some cheddar & bacon on each serving) and I like to 'squeeze' a tomato into the dressing for an added BLT taste! Still a 5 star!

Oh so good! I made chocolate with chocolate icing the first time and yellow with german chocolate next. I chose to coat them in confectioners sugar/milk icing. So good especially straight out of the freezer!!

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations

Reviewed: May 27, 2008
WOW! This recipe ir so easy and so good! I made the chocolate first, today I made yellow. I will only buy box cake mix now in case I run out of flour or sugar! Very tender cakes! I also used this cake mix when I made cake balls from this site.

Outstanding Burgers! I didn't change a thing and they are so good. I did add more blue cheese to my bun along with mustard and onion. Tastes just like a fav restaurant of mine in Florida! Thanks for sharing!

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2007
Great recipe although I confess to adding italian seasonings to my breadcrumbs. Sometimes I cut my chicken into nuggets, bake, then put my cooked spaghetti in a casserole, add sauce then nuggets and sprinkle cheese on top. It's easier for my grandson to eat this way.

Super Al's Cocktail Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Simply the best! Like other reviewers, I am the only one who eats cocktail sauce so I was always buying a jar and throwing away most of it. I will forever make this recipe, exactly as written and having the simple ingredients on hand makes it so simple and much cheaper. Thanks Al!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
This was wonderful!! It was my first attempt at making alfredo sauce and it turned out delish! I will make sure I use unsalted butter next time as the parmesan is salty enough for my taste. Thanks so much for the recipe!
