Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
I received an advertisement in the mail to subscribe to All Reciepes magazine and saw this reciepe, tried it, mainly due to all the 5 star ratings. As the saying goes "There's a reason that Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors." Way, way too sweet; mushy meat. Used Sweet Baby Ray's original sauce and pork shoulder. There are 2 people in my family who have real "sweet tooths" and they gave it a thumbs down. The solution was to put salsa on it, to add flavor other than root beer and to cut the sweetness some. We followed the suggestion from AR people to use cole slaw on the sandwiches; it did help and because of that, we were able to eat it the first night. To each his own. :)
