Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Enjoyed it very much. A note to ErnieG, the professional level cook. I think your comments to reviewers were wrong. Cooking is all about tweaking; learning; experimenting. There's nothing wrong with changing a recipe; that's how new recipes are born. Surely, you understand that concept, being a professional cook. I'm sure your professional level cook friends would agree with me. Life would be very boring if people did not experiment. And professional level cooks would be out of business.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
I received an advertisement in the mail to subscribe to All Reciepes magazine and saw this reciepe, tried it, mainly due to all the 5 star ratings. As the saying goes "There's a reason that Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors." Way, way too sweet; mushy meat. Used Sweet Baby Ray's original sauce and pork shoulder. There are 2 people in my family who have real "sweet tooths" and they gave it a thumbs down. The solution was to put salsa on it, to add flavor other than root beer and to cut the sweetness some. We followed the suggestion from AR people to use cole slaw on the sandwiches; it did help and because of that, we were able to eat it the first night. To each his own. :)
