Really good recipe- haven't had stuffed peppers in years and these were great. Two concerns with the recipe prompted me to make changes- cooking the rice first, and upping the spices/flavouring. I added more worcestershire, basil, oregano, and minced garlic- lots of each. I also used pizza sauce in with tomato sauce and tomato paste for the topping part (and didn't add water- definitely not needed). I thought they were great- probably didn't even need the cheese on top. Husband thought they were too saucy, but I liked it. Would still be good even without the tomato sauce on top. Thanks for this- I've never had a stuffed pepper with so much tomato/sauce actually- quite liked it!
