Wow - so easy and tastes just like boiled icing, without all the work! Light, fluffy and delicious! Thanks for posting it! By the way, the whisk attachment made it whip up very quickly.

The Best Double Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2006
Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, couldn't be more delicious! I used butter, (it was all I had) and 1/2 cup of cocoa (because I love chocolate). Cookies held their shape just right. Thanks for a great cookie recipe!

great change up on these beans. It worked on them in their shell, I would just halve the ingredients next time!

Mexican Tinga

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
This was made for a dinner party and was very well received. Used one small can of "Herdez" Chipotle and it was hot, but would only give it a 7/10 on the heat scale. We will make this again, but if you dont like spicy food, this isn't for you.

Grilled Mexican Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
After reading the reviews, I did adjust the amount of cilantro, but still ended up with lots of marinade, but that was no issue. It looked like Martian food when I went to grill it, but smelled terrific and even the non red meat eaters enjoyed. We used top sirloin grilling stake as I am not sure what skirt or flank is, must be localized word for the same thing. We did use pre-ground cumin to save time, the result was fantastic! thanks TA91!!

Mexican Hot Carrots

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
WOW!!!! I have been asked by a local Mexican restaurant to give them the recipe! One thing, the jarred Jalapenos varied in their scofield considerably, We made two jars, and the heat levels varied, but we like it spicy and everyone, even people who don't like carrots, love them. We will make these over and over again!!

Homemade Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Very tasty pie for Thanksgiving! (Action de grace)The contents were a bit much for the pie dish we had, so we have a smaller pie for the day after, who's complaining

Spicy Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
As others have stated, this needs a bit more spice. I am not sure why they are called "Spicy" Pumkin Sees. I added spice and they are great! I added a 1/4 TSP of Paprika and 1/4 TSP of Old Bay. And a drop of Mad Dog, perfect!

Roast Goose with Wild Rice Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
substituted the hazelnuts for almonds, and this was great, and goose for capon. I cooked the rice al dente and this allowed it to soak in the flavour. A big hit with my picky relatives!!

Hot Pepper Jelly

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2013
this is the 3rd year I have made this recipe. Thought it was just me who couldn't get it to set. I think the hot peppers react to the pectin differently. I just call it "runny jelly", and everybody loves it. I go half and half on the hot peppers vs bell. Only use red hot peppers (Cherry ) with red bells, and JalapeƱos with green bells, and I give out a Christmas as the jars look festive. Mind you with going half and half, the jelly is very hot, we serve with cream cheese on a cracker, perfect appetizer.

Linguine Pasta with Shrimp and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2014
after reading the reviews,I just doubled the Cajun spice ( I actually used Tony Chachere's) and it worked out great for a wide variety of pallets. We also added the cream as suggested in the author's review, and it was great!
