No Fry Crab Rangoon

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2013
So good! The garlic gave it a zingy heat and the sugar balanced it right out. The addition of the sour cream made it rich and creamy. This is a keeper for sure!

Ghirardelli Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2012
While this mousse was ok at best it was not worth the time or the premium ingredients that the recipe calls for. I made the recipe EXACTLY as written and it came out a runny mess that had an odd, almost "fake", flavor to it. I will not be making this again.

Earthquake Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
Good, easy, and affordable cookie. Quick and easy to make too. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's a little plain. Almost tastes like a brownie but less dense. On the following batchs I added pecans, and a carmel drizzle and it was much better.

Cheesy Sausage Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
Yummy! I was leary of this because of the processed cheese but it was GREAT! I changed a few things because I needed to use up things from my garden: used ground turkey, omit the oregano and substituted grill seasoning, no mushrooms, added 5 minced bananna peppers, 1 red pepper, and 2T minced garlic (we are garlic lovers). I only baked for 15 min because that's all it really needed to melt the cheese and make it creamy. Also, I avoided an extra clean up step by baking it in my skillet (make sure your skillet is oven safe). Husband couldn't get enough and I loved it. This is a keeper!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
It was a little salty for our taste. I followed directions exactly and didn't care for it much. Besides being salty it was too greasy from the buttery bread crumbs and cheese. I would use a different soup base too because it was "too chickeny" according to my husband. Maybe cream of celery or mushroom? Probably won't make this again.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
Yummy and easy to make. I added 1T cinnamon and 1/4t of nummeg for flavor...was afraid it would be too bland without. I also added an extra banana to mine because I had to use it up and it was perfect. Great flavor.

Chicken-Parmesan Bundles

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
Easy! Added paprika and garlic powder to the cracker and parm mix for extra flavor. Didn't use the past sauce because the chicken was so juicy it didn't need a sauce at all. Served to my in laws and picky husband with rave reviews!

Chocolate Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
This cake was not a pound cake; it was a brownie. It was way too dense and chewy. It had no loft nor crumb like one would expect with a "cake". The taste was mediocre at best. The chocolate flavor was too delicate and it just needed a little something extra. I followed the recipe exactly and I am truly disappointed.

Easter Egg Dipper Treats™

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
Great treat for the kids! Instead of the chocolate chips I use the colored bags of chocolate you can get at craft stores. VERY easy to use and the chocolates come is any color you can dream of!

Sweet and Sour Faux Meat Balls

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
I did not care for this recipe! I would have rated it 0 star if the site would allow. I followed the recipe exactly. The sauce tasted like ketchup and the meat balls were dry and tasteless. I will NEVER make this again!

Honey Brie Spread

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
This one is a keeper! The only complaint I ever get is that some people don't like the rind on the brie. I don't care for it myself but this recipe is so good I just pick it out.

Dirt Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
I have been making this for years and am just now getting around to rating it. What a great recipe. It is fun and easy. I use a glass vase so you can see the layers better. In the spring I put in some chocolate in the shape of tulips wrapped in yellow foil (you can get them at most candy shops) or roses. Typically the adults pick out the worms so I don't add that many.

Healthy Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
I like this one! I don't add the oil I just use applesauce. Also I don't make them as cookies I put it all in an 8x8 dish that I line with foil and bake them. They come out like chewy granola bars.

Simple Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2009
I used the carmel apple part of the recipe to dress up a turkey meat loaf I made. It was great! I did make one change though; I used 1/8 tsp pumpkin pie spice along with the other spices...it just needed a little kick to it and that did it. I will make this again.

Can't Leave Alone Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2007
I made 2 of these for a church pot luck. I made one with yellow cake mix and chocolate chips and I made one with chocolate cake mix and peanut butter chips. No one liked the taste of the yellow with chocolate chips but I got tons of compliments on the chocolate cake mix and peanut butter chips. I will make the chocolate version again but not the yellow.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2005
It looks like a lot of work but it is so simple. I make this stuffing all of the time - especially on thanksgiving. Everyone in the family loves it...even very picky 5 year olds!

Easy Marinated Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2005
WOW this was super! My family LOVED it! The only thing that I would change would be to spray the crockpot before cooking with nonstick spray to keep it from discoloring and staining. Otherwise perfection!!!

Hawaiian Chicken Salad

This was way to sweet and fruity! I made it for a family party. Everyone had to ask, "What is this?" Will not make it again!

This recipe was awful! YUCK - it was sooooo dry and soooo thick it all but choked my father-in-law! I will never make this again!
