My husband is "The Cheesecake Master". He bakes at an advanced level and can tackle almost anything! Great for him...and for us! If that's the kind of cheesecake you're looking for then move on to a recipe that includes waterbaths,many steps, lots of ingredients and patience! You might want to throw in a Hail Mary while you're at it! God forbid it cracks!
This is a different cheesecake! You can play around with this recipe! You can make it your own (just read some of the comments)! It's light and delicious! You can use low fat/sugar free ingredients. This is awesome and even my husband loved it. Tomorrow I will make it with pumpkin and "fall spices" as I call cinnamon, nutmeg, nutmeg, ginger... I will make a ginger crisp crust.
Please don't give this a low rating because it wasn't't like the cheesecake you've eaten that was 4" high and delicate.... for what you put into this, it's a great, tasty dessert...even for the experts!!
