My Chili
Haven't made chili in quite awhile so I needed a new recipe & this was a great pick! I've made a few changes after reading some reviews....I used 2 can's of petite diced tomatoes & 2 cans of stewed tomatoes. Added 2 cans of Bush's Chili Beans instead of 1 can. Only added 1 tsp. of salt instead of 2 because I'm always cautious about salt in recipe's and you can always add more. Next time I will probably leave out stewed tomatoes all together because I'm really not that crazy about them & just add the petite diced, maybe even cut 1 can out so the chili will be more on the thicker side? Overall as others have said this is a great base recipe & easy enough to tweak & make to your own specifications over time! This one is now in my recipe box...thanks!

Cheeseburger Pie
This is delicious and I would definitely make it again! The only change I made was that I used puff pastry instead of a pie shell. Only one change I would make: as much as I love cheese, I would probably cut back & maybe use only 1 cup instead of 2. It does sort of taste like a meatloaf, but it's still very good & maybe kids who wouldn't normally eat meatloaf, might eat this!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
I made this pie for Thanksgiving & it was delicious. Bake time was a little longer than what was called for in the recipe, but thats just the way my oven works. Also, by the time I finished slicing up the apples (with the food processor), I had enough apples for a second pie! Maybe they were sliced too thin, I'm not really sure & I did pile the apples fairly high because I know they will cook down. I would definitely make it again, but probably cut the number of apples in half. Again delicious & would recommend anyone to try it!
