Wasabi Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2011
Made just a few adjustments to this. First, I only roast the garlic for 20 minutes so it doesn't loose most of it's flavor. The time is still long enough to get the garlic nice and soft. I use between 2-4 tsp of wasabi paste...depending on how many potatoes I am making. I start with 2 tsp and if it needs more, I add until I get it to where I like it. I also add 2 spoonfuls of horseradish as well. Like the wasabi paste, if you think that might be too much, start with one spoon and see how it tastes. The combo blends well together and isn't over the top in regards to being too spicey.

Very good....added some Cayenne to it as well to add a little more spice. Will do this recipe again.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
It was ok....when I fried my chicken it burnt both sides. Not sure why as I had it on low heat. Went 8 minutes on one side and then only 4 on the other. If I did this again I might just try broiling them on a cookie sheet instead.

Double Layer Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
Great pie that didn't last very long at a dinner party I went to. Followed the suggestions of using only 1/3 of a cream cheese block and I only used 1 packet of the pudding. Two would have been way to much filling. I also had some whip topping left over as I didn't need to use all of it to fill up the pie crust.

Texas Pork Ribs

Reviewed: May 22, 2004
Unless you are an absolute fan of smoking things, I would maybe skip the grilling part. I followed the recipe word by word and my ribs came out charred. It seems that a lot of the people that reviewed this reciped skipped the grilling part...I would 2nd that motion. The sugar on the ribs burns to easily I think and I had my heat on low on the grill. To be honest, I smoke all the time and I could barely even sense the smoke flavor. I would suggest either to just leave them in the oven a little longer or if you have to put them on the grill, reduce the time and turn the ribs OFTEN.
