Very Fruity Rum Punch

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2005
Excellent punch! I made this for a party last weekend, and it was all gone by the end of the night. I'm so glad I doubled the recipe! It was not too sweet - just very fruity, refreshing and delicious!

Grape and Feta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2005
I made this salad for a party last weekend (doubled the recipe), and in the end it was all gone! Very interesting because of the grapes and almonds (I used sliced almonds). I used orange bell pepper instead of carrots. Very tasty, pretty and colorful!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2005
This salsa is awesome! Just the way I like i: spicy and fresh! And healthy! I didn't add any salad dressing, because the salsa was already quite watery. I did add some lime juice and cilantro. Perfect! Thanks for the excellent recipe!!!

White Bean Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2005
I made this last weekend and in my opinion the lemon was overpowering. I'd use less lemon juice (maybe lime juice would be better...?). I added more cilantro and some sugar, and then this dip was ok. I'll definitely make this again, though. Just with less lemon juice!

Asparagus Soup

Lovely summer soup. Used olive oil instead of butter, and served with a dollop of sour cream. Mmmmmmmm.... Very fast to prepare, too!

I've made a similar salad myself many times before, and this one tastes great as well! I added also some fresh basil leaves in my salad.

Vegetable Masala

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2004
Great blend of spices! Very aromatic! I didn't pre-cook the veggies in the microwave, but started cooking from the point 3, and added the veggies (omitted the beans and added eggplant, zucchini, pepper, kohlrabi) to the oil-onion-spice mix in the pan, and let all the ingredients simmer until the potatoes were done (about an hour). Very delicious served with basmati rice and pita bread!

LuvAnn's Guacamole

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2004
Loved this guacamole! I followed the advice of other reviewers, and used only 1/2 tsp salt. I also omitted the onion and used canned jalopeños. Very tasty with warm tortilla chips and salsa! Yum!

Greek Potato Stew

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2004
This stew was wonderful! It was even better the next day - totally yummy! I didn't have any kalamata olives, so I used "normal" black olives instead. Turned out great. I'm sure, though, that kalamata olives give this dish a special flavor, so I'm going to use them next time. I also used two cans of pizza tomatoes, instead of fresh ones (lazy me... ;)!
