Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
Coconut Cream Pie is one of my faves, and this one yummy recipe! As some reviews suggested I did use coconut milk 1 1/2 C and 1 1/2 C half&half. I got whipping cream to make real whipped cream for topping ,but this pie was so good, it was eaten before the whipped cream got made :) I will be making this again and again

Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
This is one of my family's favorites that I have made for years. I use suger free jello and 1/2 the sugar in the cream chese. Today for Fathers Day I decided to do 12 individual ones so I used my ramekins . Follow the recipe, for the ramekins I used 1 Tbl of pretzel mixture, 1 Tbl of cream cheese mixture and fill to the top with jello. Had enough for a 9x9 dish to finish it off.

Perfect Berry Shortcakes

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
Oh My Goodness this is the best shortcake I have ever made. I made the dough just like it said and it was so easy. I did use a biscuit cutter to cut it out though. Perfect. This is my last search for shortcake, because it is the only one I will make from now on

Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Oh my goodness this was so easy to make. It tasted wonderful too, thought I was back in Ireland. When I took it out of the oven I rubbed butter over the top and sides, so the crust wouldnt't be so hard. I served it at my St.Patricks Day dinner party and everybody Loved it. Was great toasted for breakfast the next morning. I will be making this again and again Thanks for sharing

As my first time makeing Yorkshire Pudding I didnt know what to expect. This was so easy and so good.I did add a little salt though. As someone else suggested I put a cookie sheet under the muffin tin and I'm glad I did.The batter tends to push the oil out. I will make this again and again

Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2007
I have made this twice. The first time I used canned peanuts, and added 1/2 t of vanilla before adding the baking soda. The second time I used 3/4c canned peanuts and 1/4c planters hot peanuts, and 1/2t vanilla. They both came out great. The hot nut one had just a very little kick, but you had to eat a lot to notice it. Great recipe thanks for sharing

Classic Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
I have cooked all my life and never made hollandaise sauce. This was very easy for my first time. I did have a problem getting all the butter to mix in after the 8 min. so I added one more yolk and it was perfect.I did cut down on the lemon juice because I dont like it too tart. Thanks for sharing
