Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
I can't say thanks enough Dana. I have thrown out every other fudge recipe I have. It doesn't get any easier than this recipe. I made chocolate and peanut butter, using the chips as you suggested. Delicious and thanks again.

Sour Cream Apple Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2004
You have to prepare your mouth for a different taste than traditional apple pie. I didn't like the first piece because I was thinking of apple pie even though I knew that wasn't what it was. The second (and third) piece was great. I shared with my sister and she took the recipe too. I will make it again.

Honeyed Beef Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2004
I served it over rice and enjoyed it along with my 3 kids, hubby didn't like it though I don't know why. I didn't think it tasted like sweet and sour, it just tasted sweet to me.

Angel Crisps

I'm so glad I found this recipe. It's like a sugar cookie. But it sooo soft and good! I had more than one person ask for the recipe.

Angel Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
This is one awesome cookie! I'm making them to take to the Christmas pagent at church and I'll be proud to take them. I didn't take the time to chill them and they still turned out excellent. They are soft too, which I appreciate.

Pineapple Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2004
If you like pineapple upside down cake you'll like this. It tastes the same to me. I took it for a potluck and there was no leftovers. My husband and daughter didn't even get to try it. I made it again a couple days later for them and it lasted only a day. This will be one of my new favorites. If I ever want a pineapple upside down cake and don't have a lot of time this is what I'll make for sure.

Moist and light is right and ever so delicious. It was terrific for a hot summer day but I would enjoy it anytime.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2004
ok I have to admit I made a mistake. I wrote the ingredients down and was making it with my daughter and instead of putting brown sugar and ketchup on bottom of pan I added it all together. But I thought it was terrific and 4 kids agreed. Kinda sweet but very good.

Grandma's Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2004
Tasted great, but not quite worth the trouble to me. For me, I'd rather just throw some canned sauce in with the meat. But for those that enjoy making things from scratch this is the recipe for you.

Apple Downside-Up Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2004
This was good and easy to make but needs more apples in my opinion. I'll put in double next time. Too much bread with only 3 apples I think. But, I do appreciate how quick and easy it is.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2004
I absolutely loved these cookies. I made it for the youth of my church, they were headed to camp. A recipe that made 6 dozen was definitely appealing. But, what really amazed me was how soft they were and how soft they stayed, a lot of chocolate, it was just delicious. I don't think I'll ever use another choc. chip recipe again.

Apple Delight

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2004
Very easy and very good! I've made this twice. The first time I made a boo boo and melted 2 sticks of butter instead of 1. The second time I did it right. Either way is very good but I personally liked the "boo boo way" better, it was a bit less sweet that way. My family can't wait for me to make it again though. Definitely one for the recipe book.

Good Burger

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2004
This is a sweet burger, but I thought it was good. I made it at a BBQ and all but 1 person liked it, he thought it was too sweet. It's terrific for a change from the regular burger though. I will definitely make it again.

Best Barbequed Burgers

verrrrry moist burgers, big hit for my family. They didn't even need the extra things that we normally use like onion, lettuce, pickle, tomato...I did use ketchup, mustard and mayo though : )
