Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving because my little sister doesn't like pie, and it was a huge hit!! We had some friends over for dessert and I think more people ate this cheesecake than any of the pies I made! It was absolutely delicious!! We always have leftover pie and cheesecake for breakfast the few days after Thanksgiving, and there was hardly any leftover cheesecake! Needless to say, my sister was not very happy about it. I substituted the graham cracker crust for an Oreo crust (I'm a chocoholic!) and everybody loved it! My only complaint was that it still cracked even though I left it in the oven for 6 hours; however I live at a high altitude so a cracking cheesecake is hard to avoid.

The Best Double Chocolate Chip Cookie

If I could give this recipe 6 stars, I would!! This cookies were amazing!! And addicting!! I reduced both the white and brown sugar down to about 3/4 cups each and doubled the amount of cocoa powder to make them extra chocolatey (I also used dark chocolate cocoa powered). I decreased the salt to 1/2 tsp and substituted white chocolate chips in for the regular ones. This recipe was super easy to make. I made them in a shared college kitchen with very limited baking utensils, and they still turned out amazing! My floor ate an entire gallon zip-lock bag full in about 20 min. they were that good!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This zucchini bread was absolutely amazing!! I used fresh picked zucchinis from my garden which made it even better. I substituted the full cup of oil for 1/2 a cup of apple sauce and 1/2 a cup of oil to make it a little healthier. It turned out great! Next time I might try a full cup of applesauce. I also switched out the nuts for chocolate chips because no one in my family will touch nuts, and it was delicious!

Ghirardelli Chocolate Mousse

I followed the recipe exactly, but it turned out to be a liquidy, lumpy mess! I thought if I put it in the fridge for a while it would start to solidify, but it never did. It didn't taste good either. Even my boyfriend (who will eat almost anything) said it tasted bad, and that's saying something. If you're in search of a tasty mousse recipe, keep looking.
