Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2004
This was GREAT!!! I did what several had suggested and used 1/2 tsp vanilla and 2T sugar. I used 3T of Nescafe's Iced Java syrup (it's fat free!) instead of a powder. I also used fat free milk so the drink was completely fat free and it tasted just like a Frappacino. I used 1 1/2 cups of ice to make it a little thicker. And as one person said, this is an addicting drink!

Pasta Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2004
Great alternative to lasagna! Much easier to prepare. The only thing I would change the next time I make it, spice up the meat with garlic, oregano, basil, etc. It was too bland. I thought using a pasta sauce with garlic and herbs would suffice but it wasn't enough for my taste.

Festive Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2004
This was not only a quick and easy fudge recipe to make, it tasted great! A chocolate-lovers dream! I used 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup milk chocolate which I thought was a good combination (not to rich or too sweet). I omitted the nuts. I also melted the chips in the microwave (2 min on high, stir, 1 addt'l min). I will definitely make this again next year!

Awesome Apple Martinis

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2005
What an easy recipe! I reduced the apple juice to half because I found it to be too sweet.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2012
What an EASY recipe!!! My daughter doesn't like gingerbread men cookies because they are too "spicy" but she LOVED these!! Instead of butter I used 1/2 c butter flavor crisco and added 3 tsp of milk. I also used powdered sugar to dust the rolling in and rolling surface. It adds a little extra sweetness to the cookie. We made them about 1/4" thick and baked for 10 minutes. They turned out nice and soft. We frosted with a powdered sugar glaze (1 c powdered sugar and 1 1/2 Tbsp milk). This will now be a Christmas must!
