Cranberry Applesauce Muffins

YUM YUM! Tiny changes to original recipe: omitted pecans, used whole wheat flour and fresh cranberries - next time I will double the cranberries - as we love them!

Spiced Apples

Ok - this recipe was easy, tasted great and the kids loved it. Why not 5 stars then? I was not a big fan of the artifical coloring. The apples were a serious red/pink color - not natural at all. However - no leftovers and we served it over vanilla ice cream.

Roasted Vegetables

I will admit I was skeptical. Red peppers, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, red onions and yukon golds - together? But oh the taste! These were fantastic - I served with pork tenderloin and mashed potatoes. Fabulous!

Apple Butter Pork Loin

This was sooooo good! I was a bit concerned after the first hour when I went to add the apple butter - it looked a bit scary - but after the next hour - YUM! I didn't make a gravy with the juices - but will next time. That is my only regret. I served with roasted harvest veggies and mashed potatoes.

Spinach Salad with Peaches and Pecans

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

This meal came out OK - although I changed the recipe quite a bit - used sour cream, fresh onions, celery, potatoes and carrots....lots of salt and pepper - served over egg noodles...added flour to the gravy - still didn't seem thick enough....maybe it was me - I added some extra water as well - since I wanted to make sure that the veggies and meat were covered. All in all - quick, easy and yummy!

eh - this recipe was ok - maybe I toasted the nuts wrong - the dough smelled/tasted great - but the nuts - eh - perhaps 5 minutes to toast is too long? I might try this again because it seemed so promising - might be user error on my part.

Chicken Piccata II

YUM YUM YUM! I have made this with Veal and Chicken - both times delicious! I do have to flatten the chicken before coating and I still have to master keeping the breading on the chicken while cooking - but the taste - FANTASTIC! I loved it, my husband loved it - even the kids loved it!

Ham Roll Ups II

These tasted ok. Nothing really wrong with the recipe - I made exactly as the recipe stated. The cheeses made it very heavy and I had other appetizers on hand that were finished while I had quite a bit of the Ham Roll Ups left over.

Blueberry Brie

I made this with the Blueberry filling. While I had to cook it much longer than 10 minutes to have the Brie warm and smooth - it was a hit. I served it on the dessert table - with water crackers.

Cheese Ball I

I made this for a Christmas party and formed 3 balls into a snowman. I made it the day before and arranged the balls minutes before the party. It was good, not great - the hardest part was to get people to "break" the snowman. I will probably make again due to the ease of the recipe......
