Southern Sweet Potato Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
My first time making sweet potato pie and this was so very delicious. I did substitute 2/3 sugar for brown sugar, added a little vanilla and added some fresh nutmeg... wow... I am very impressed with my first attempt. I diced up two nice size sweet potatoes and them steamed them until quite mushy.

Sex In A Pan III

This was awesome! Quick and easy. I didn't have pecans, so I used sliced almonds. I did have any melted chocolate so I dusted the top with cocoa powder. Must put into freezer to firm up prior to serving... many many rave reviews.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
YUM... I make the same thing but call it Creamy Italian Chicken and serve over rice or noodles. I omit the margarine and do not cube the chicken. I put in chicken breasts that are still frozen and then shred up before I put in the cream cheese and cream of chicken soup.

Made this last night... it was very good. I used Bushes Grilling Beans, I think Bourbon and Brown Sugar... wow.. very yummy. I made up some Bisquick bisquits and baked them while this was simmering on the stove. Hubby said it was a keeper.

Garlic and Parmesan Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2014
Awesome! We didn't know we were going to use this recipe until the last minute. We had 8 pounds of wings sitting in a brine. We did par-boil in plain water, because of the brine. We used a lot of extra garlic (we love garlic) in the sauce and skipped the red pepper flakes. We will make them again.

Used my kitchen aid mixer to mix the dough. My yeast had expired months ago but it still got foamy while proofing. Will make this bread again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2013
Made this tonight for dinner. Used frozen chicken breast because I had to work today. I seasoned up every layer with sea salt, fresh ground pepper, Soul Seasoning, granulated garlic. I used chicken broth instead of water. Cooked on low for about 10 hours. Did not have any canned biscuits, so I made up some rice with leftover chicken broth. Delicious!

Added more garlic to our liking and around tablespoon of corn startch to thicken it up... excellent, so much better then store bought. Most probably do not know that they already have the ingredients in their cabinet.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
Just made this tonight for dinner... DELICIOUS!!! While the potatoes were boiling in chicken broth, I sauted the diced ham with onions, celery and carrots in another pan. After the potatoes were done, I mixed in the ham mixture. I happened to have some leftover mashed potatoes, so I used some of them to thicken up the soup. Will definitely make again!

This was a pleasent surprise. I was skeptical but it turned out amazingly well. I used a small yellow onion and I dredged my pork steak in seasoned up flour. Hubby really enjoyed his dinner tonight... :)

This was declicious... easy to prepare. Added some Philly Cooking Creme the Savory Garlic. To brown the chicken, I was bad and used the bacon drippings with a little olive oil.... mmmmm well worth the extra calories.
