Easy Apple Coffee Cake

I HAVE MADE THIS COFFEE CAKE SEVERAL TIMES AND EVERYBODY REALLY RAVED ABOUT IT. IT IS A LITTLE HARD TO GET DONE BUT VERY GOOD ANY TIME OF THE DAY!

Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

This recipe was really easy to make and I liked it because I could just bake it in the morning. I used less brown sugar, 1 stick of butter and added pecans instead of the raisins and it turned out great! All the guys at work loved it!

Classic Spanish Sangria

I followed the recipe and used the red burgundy wine as it suggested but it was much too dry and tart for me. I thought the orange juice and fruit would flavor and mellow out the dryness of the wine but it didn't. I wasted almost half of the batch I made. Don't think I will make it again.

Easy Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Pie

This cheesecake was delicious!! I had previously purchased the frozen chocolate chip cheescake that is made by Sara Lee but cannot find it anymore in our area. When my daughter said she wanted a chocolate chip cheesecake for her birthday I found this recipe and it turned out perfect!! Really rich and don't want to eat a very big piece but you will really like it.

Anniversary Chicken I

This recipe was delicious. I made it for our 30th wedding anniversary because the name was fitting and I thought it sounded really good. My daughter came over to eat with us and we all loved it! I mixed the teriyaki sauce with the dressing and let it marinade for awhile and it turned out great. I had one left so I took it to work the next day and the guys all said it looked so good so I gave them all a bite and now we are fixing it for food day this week!

Meatloaf Cordon Bleu

I tried this meatloaf last night and it was good but I think I could have added more ham and some of the cheese ran out. I put a ketchup/brown sugar glaze on it in the last 30 minutes of baking and it made it really good. My husband liked it and I would probably make it again but I would add more spices to it for more flavor.

Buckeye Balls

I must have done something wrong because I couldn't get it to set up enough to make balls and hold on to the toothpick so I could dip them in the chocolate. They had good flavor but I had to add more conf. sugar and a litte more peanut butter to get the batter to firm up. I might give them a try again.

Apple Cake III

This cake is so moist and delicious. I have made it twice in the past two weeks for my husband and I to take to work and it was a big hit both places. the cinnamon/sugar topping really makes it good. I did not increase the apple pie filling as some suggested and it was great! This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Chicken Eugene

I didn't have regular sour cream so I used the french onion dip that I had and used both chicken and mushroom soup plus put a slice of swiss cheese on the chicken before I wrapped it with the bacon strip. I also rinsed the dried beef to get rid of some of the salt. I used the gravy over mashed potatoes and it turned out really good. My husband liked it and he usually does not like casseroles. Thanks.

Cream Cheese Squares

These bars are delicious! I made them for the guys at work last week and they disappeared in no time. I only made one change, I just brushed some margarine on the top after baking and them sprinkled it with the cinnamon and sugar. I was afraid the c/s mixture on the top would carmelize or burn during baking. They were very good. I will make them again. Thanks.

Sugar Cream Pie III

I must have done something wrong because the pie came out like soup. It got golden on the top but it didn't set up in the middle. I baked it for an hour and let it set in the fridge for 4 hours and it still did not come out. I think a couple of eggs would have helped. Maybe I will try it the next time.
