Pecan Pie V

I had never made pecan pie. I used the tips from another user and added 1/4 choc chips. I had warmed the sugars & butter on top of the stove to prevent the mixture being grainy. I added a bit of the hot mixture to the eggs to tempure it. The baking time was 10 min at 400, 20 min at 350 and 10 min at 325. WOW, it turned out perfect and wasn't too sweet, I had cut down the sugar a bit. I thought when it came out with a crispy, cracked crust it hadn't turned out....wrong!! Served with whipped cream was yummy!! Next time, I would serve with a scoop of ice cream and top with whip cream!!
