Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie
This was the best pumpkin pie I've ever had! I did not have evaporated milk so I used 1.5 cups heavy cream. The pie was really soft, even with extra baking time. This did not keep us from devouring it. I had extra pumpkin and made another pie with 1 cup of heavy cream and the consistency was perfect!

Pear Preserves Cake
This was a delicious spice cake with good texture from the pears and pecans. I did not make this a layer cake with icing, I made a bundt and omitted the icing completely as I think it would have been way too sweet for my tastes. I used spiced pears so I cut back the spices just a tad (used about 3/4 tsp per spice) and the flavor was perfect!

Best Bread Machine Bread
Easy, simple, delicious! We used all white wheat flour and added 1/2 tsp extra salt and my kids could not get enough! My 5 year old was begging me to make more! I love the simplicity of the ingredients and how quick it comes together.
