I am an Oregonian have been all my life. I like to eat healthier now as I grow grayer so I have become a label reader when selecting my provisions and its no wonder I have made it this far in life what with eating as it appears to be a mostly sugar diet. I likes my meats don't get me wrong but I try to include a lot more roughage with my venison when I strap on the feed bag these days that is fresh roughage.
My favorite things to cook
I am not a connoisseur of fine cuisine but I now what I like and I like it simple so I use the kiss system which is Keep It Simple Stupid. The recipes in my collection are just that I like to taste the real flavor of the food with out a lot of spice. As I see it if you need a lot of spice in it maybe its because you cooked the flavor out of it. The only exception is jalapinos as my saying goes you can cook the hop out of a frog and get it back with jalapinos.

I once cracked open a rotten duck egg into a hot skillet they both ended up in the slough out back took awhile to get over that stink
