These are just out of the oven. I halved the recipe and used one cup of M&M minis for the chips. Scooped them with a standard ice cream scoop (so pretty large) and it made 8 perfect cookies. They baked very quickly (maybe it's my oven?) in about 10 minutes, even though they were the Texas size. Once those edges are brown, pull these! The centers will be light colored and soft but don't be tempted to over bake! After cooling on the sheet pan for a minute or two, I transferred to a rack (they seemed very gooey and under done!)and they were firm and perfect within 5 minutes. Good recipe with a great outcome. Follow the directions and don't over bake!
