Spicy Sweet Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
This is my first time making a sweet potato soup and this is a great recipe! Based on personal preferences, I cut the cumin and ginger in half, but followed the rest of the recipe.

This is a very unusual combination of ingredients but it works!

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

My husband didn't like it quite so spicy. My daughter and I liked it. I used 1 egg and added some extra flour and water.

Apple Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2005
I use about 4 cups of apples and mix it into the batter. My family prefers it this way. It is a bit on the sweet side.

My family loves this soup! I, too, add 1 tsp. of chili powder and add whatever small pasta I have on hand.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2005
Really good!! Made it twice in the last month and got rave reviews. I used my large roasting pan and it worked better than using the cookie sheets. I cut the corn syrup in half and used molasses for the other half.

Sand Art Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2005
Most excellent! After experimenting with the oil and eggs, we decided we liked the brownies with 2 eggs and 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp oil. I used milk chocolate and peanut butter chips.

Spicy Chicken Breast Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2005
I used half of the seasoning mix for 3 chicken breasts and it was the right amount. I broiled the breasts for a total of 25-30 minutes instead of grilling them. We used wheat hamburger rolls and they were delicious.

Texas BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
We weren't impressed with the BBQ sauce - both the favor and how thin the sauce was.

Talerini

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
This was very good although it needed more tomato sauce. I topped it with French fried onions instead of cheese.
