Macaroni Au Gratin

When I made this my husband flipped. He said it was the best mac n cheese he'd ever had. I am gluten sensitive so I used Ronzoni Gluten Free Penne and instead of flour I used corn starch. I used a combo of shredded cheddar and American cheese, baked at 350 for 35 mins. Do not expect this to be "macaroni and cheese" like the stuff in the red box in the freezer section at the store. This is more like potatoes au-gratin - only it's made with pasta. This recipe is a keeper for us.

Praline Sweet Potatoes

Terrific! Never made sweet potatoes before and it was amazing. I used 3 eggs, 1 Tbs of vanilla and added just a touch of spice. The family really enjoyed it.

Alaskan Cod and Shrimp with Fresh Tomato

Made this last night for two. I used a little extra Italian spices and my husband flipped over it. Lots of flavor for the pallet and texture/color for the eyes!

Breakfast Sausage

Tried this - this morning. I thought it was better than anything I could have purchased...and, without any add'l preservatives etc. Easy, tasty, yep I'll be making this again. Husband liked it too and I crumbled a few patties into my baked egg cups I prepare for the week. 5 stars!

Doggie Birthday Cake

I used this recipe for our Roxy's 3rd birthday. All 5 dogs give this a 5 star rate. Even a few humans taste tested. I used more carrots than the recipe asked for, only because I shredded too much but dumped them in anyway and they were moist and delicious. Didn't have honey but used a little VT maple syrup.

Weeknight Chicken Cordon Bleu

Great for any night and presents itself great for guests! Husband isn't a huge chicken fan but he cleaned the plate. Tastes terrific!
