Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Love the flavor, but like other reviewers I tweaked it. I love hot, spicy food, but still cut the jalepenos to half a can, and increased the green chillis to 2 cans. I only added 1/4 tsp of cayenne and it was still burn your lips hot! I also tweaked the cooking directions as I was going to be out for a few hours and wanted flavors to blend well. I sauteed chicken, onions and garlic together til chicken was cooked, then added chillis and also 3Tbs of flour as I wanted a bit thicker a chili. I put this in a crock pot and stirred in the rest of the ingredients, except cheese (some of us added it later) and left it for a few hours...it was a hit with everyone!

Chocolate Orange Cookies

I followed one suggestion to use cocoa powder instead of chocolate, and added about 1/4 cup more flour as the dough was super sticky. I made a rectangle out of the chocolate dough, placed a rectangle of orange dough on top and rolled them together (no easy fete!), then refridgerated them. When harder, I sliced the dough so they would come out looking like the picture. They were dry and bland when baked. I have no idea how to fix that. Nice idea, but definitely not worth the effort unless someone can fix the recipe once and for all.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Great tasting, easy recipe....entire family loves this, especially for a fun addition to the other traditional pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving. There's always a battle for the last piece!

Burgundy Roast Beef

Made it as is with no variation to the ingredients. I get large roasts as I have a big family, so I cut a 5# rump roast in half and covered each half with the recipe ingredients (whole portion for each half, so doubling the ingredients). Had plenty of gravy for each that way. One poster had mentioned maybe adding salt....I can't even imagine as this comes out plenty salty...don't salt it! It was really good, but I gave it a 4 vs a 5 star because none of us found it spectacular, and my family said they preferred my "old way" of making roast. I would give it a 5 for ease though! I paired it with garlic mashed red skins (gravy gave it extra good flavor), and steamed green beans.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

I had burned a pre-bought crust for a veggie pizza...ended up being a good thing! Pressed for time, I tried this recipe using whole wheat flour, a glass pan, and reducing the heat to 400 and eyeballed it til done (sorry, didn't time it). Turned out to be the best crust I have ever had on a veggie pizza...the company raved over it!
