Homemade Flour Tortillas
AMAZING! I will never buy store-tortillas again! So easy, cheap and so delish!! I did let them rest for about 30 but mainly cos of the timing with dinner. Not sure if that made a difference. My one reccomendation is to roll them super thin, so they are almost transparent. Then they bubble nicely and easy to roll in burritos. The first one I did was maybe too thick and came out more like a frisbee... The rest I rolled super thin and they were beautiful. Also I didn't have lard so I used marg and they worked fine. I didn't make the full amount, I used 1 cup flour and that did enough for me and my 2 boys. Made 6 small/med tortillas. I was really suprised how easy and delish these were. I kinda feel stupid for buying store bought tortillas all these years!
