BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2007
Used chicken broth instead of beef, sprinkled salt, pepper & garlic powder over ribs and cooked on low all day (about 10 hours). Fantastic!!! Will make again!

Creamy Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2007
Delicious, but in reviewing the quantity of ingredients, there was no way this would make 5 servings. (I don't know what you consider a "serving") I doubled the ingredients and it barely made enough for 5. Very good soup!

Orange Pie II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2007
This was fantastic considering how EASY and quick this is. I couldn't find my "orange flavored drink mix", so I used a packet of orange flavored koolaid that's been collecting dust in my cupboard. It gave me the idea to use up all the other flavors since we don't drink koolaid anymore with this recipe. Can't wait to try the raspberry! (I also omitted the extra fruit - I don't care for mandarin oranges like that)

Tomato Florentine Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2007
Little bit of personal preference tweaking and this would be a great recipe. I don't care for frozen spinach and I always seem to have fresh on hand, so I just added fresh spinach when I added the macaroni. It could use some additonal spices to kick it up a notch.

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2007
I didn't have tomato basil feta, so I used plain feta and added some extra spices to it. I don't have a meat mallet so I slit the breasts open and stuffed them with the filling. I also think after sprinkling the bread crumbs on top you should drizzle some melted butter or even a little olive oil on top so the bread crumbs just aren't "dry". I make a lot of stuffed chicken breast in so many different ways, you really can't screw it up, just put in what you like basically, these recipes are very forgiving.

Mushroom and Potato Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2007
I used chicken broth in place of the water and I thought there was too many mushrooms and not enough potatoes, next time I will adjust that (that's MY preference). Guess that would make it "Potato and Mushroom Chowder" then eh? LOL Works for me! I also used skim milk instead of the cream. Good recipe.

Very good, I omitted the 2 cups water and just used 4 cups of chicken broth instead (for more flavor).

Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2007
Awesome, but next time I will cut down on the garlic salt, too salty for me, but I am very sensitive to it. I spread this on fresh baked bread and put under the broiler till it was nice and toasty. Mmmm Mmmmm Good!

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Crabmeat

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2007
I've loved every stuffed chicken breast recipe I've tried off this site so far. This was really good, but I could have used more of the crabmeat filling, maybe my chicken breasts were too big. Very easy to make and so yummy.

I really liked this dish, but I apparently am the only one. There are 3 men in my house and they haven't touched it. Unfortunately for me this recipe made a ton. Guess I'll go heat up some more now. *sigh*

Pecan Sandies

So very good. Recipe says margarine, but I used real butter (always). And I have good cookie sheets, I don't have any trouble getting them off the pan and I don't use any of that other stuff.

Slow Cooker Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2007
This is fantastic!!! I used the shredded pork to make flautas. I dipped wheat tortillas in hot oil, rolled the meat up inside each one, then baked in a 350 oven for 25 minutes. Top off with sour cream and your favorite mexican garnishes. Everyone raved about em and they were eaten up quickly.

Chili Dog Casserole I

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
I agree with another reviewer on this recipe. Seemed like a LOT of work for what tasted just like a chili dog. Easier to make chili dogs and let each individual add their own ingredients to their liking...having said that....this recipe calls for WAY too much bread! I used almost twice as many hot dogs just to make up the difference, and then I used 2 cans of chili. Was good, but..it's still a chili dog! LOL It's probably a good recipe to use for a football party or something then you don't have a whole bunch of individual bowls with condiments and then you have more space on your table for other foods.

Hearty Meatball Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2007
I used premade frozen meatballs for this recipe and medium pasta shells instead of the alphabet pasta. Wow was this ever so good! Everyone ate it up and I got lots of compliments and asked to make it again for the weekend! LOL
