Easy and Delicious Blender Quiche

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
Bisquick has a recipe similar to this that I have always made and this is much better. This recipe has more egg, more milk and the the addition of oil, which is key. For the reviewers who said it was too oily, maybe they didnt blend it in the blender and bake it right away (allowing the oil to seperate...) mine was perfect and the addition of the oil made the edges just the slightest bit crispy. Excellent! Also, I used broccoli in place of zucchini and 1/2 C fresh chopped onion in place of the dried minced. This is my new "go-to" quiche recipe. Note: I had to bake it about 10 extra minutes because I used quite a bit more chicken and veges than the recipe called for.

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
These are nothing short of 5 stars. My husband said they should be a ten! I made them exactly as the recipe states, but put the pickles on the buns before baking them. Also, I used soft potato rolls. I made them for my sons 4th birthday dinner and we all loved them!

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Let me start by saying that Ive never had tuna noodle casserole before... I grew up in a family of casserole haters, especially tuna! I loved it! I can honestly say that if it had a can of soup in it, Im sure I would have felt differently. My husband enjoyed it as well as our 3 year old. I will be making this again.

Amish Potato Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
I thought this was great! I cant stand potato salad thats straight mayo. This is sweet and tangy. The only change I made was to shred my carrots instead of chopping them. I think this will be my new go-to recipe for potato salad.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
This was suprisingly good for how easy it was. Next time, I think I would replace the cream cheese with sour cream. I was just a little too creamy for us. I did add a jar of sliced mushrooms I had in the fridge just to use them up. This was a perfect meal to have in the crock pot for hubby when Im working in the evening. All he has to do is boil noodles (make a vegetable- yeah, right!) and dinner is served!

I like this better than Manwich, but hubby disagrees. He thiks they are too sweet. Maybe next time I will sub tomato sauce for the catsup and see what happens.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2010
I made these as written in the bread machine on the dough cycle. After they were dipped in the baking soda mixture, I brushed them with melted butter and sprinkled with kosher salt. I finished them off with a drizzle of butter when hot out of the oven. Incredible!

Cocktail Meatballs

Make sure to use full fat regular old groud beef for this. I tried using really lean groung beef and they ended up going to waste. I ate some, but they werent a big hit like the time I used the fattening stuff! Otherwise this is a great recipe.
