DELICIOUS and extremely EASY to make! I used milk chocolate chips (just my personal preference), mixed it up in my biggest tupperware bowl, worked great. Taking it to work tomorrow for a treat day I'm betting not one bite comes home with me!! thank you for a great recipe!

Perfect Apple Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
absolutely delicious! I usually can not make an apple pie that tastes good, usually mine are not sweet enough or else too sweet, this was just right. I used honey crisp apples, and sliced them very thin, I've had other times I didn't slice thin enough and ended up with a crunchy pie. I did add just a tiny bit more sugar and it came out perfect! Finally a recipe I feel comfortable with.... next time I may even attempt to make my own crusts!! wonderful recipe!! Thank you for submitting it! I also made sure that I added the lemon juice!!

very very good recipe. I served these to 185 people at work for a fundraiser and got rave reviews? I'm not quite sure why there are a few nay sayers on here about how bad these are? They managed to make 185 people smile at work?? Great recipe!!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
my husband thought it was too much butter and I thought they were too sweet. SO with that being said I am convinced to try these again only reducing things. I ended up taking them to work for a pot luck, and still had 2 left at the end of the day. I will not be defeated tho. hee hee going to try again with less butter and less sugar. great idea, just needs some tweaking for our tastes. thanks for submitting the recipe!!

Cola Pot Roast I

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2011
I will try to give as good of a review as I can.. considering my husband only heard me talking about this recipe and decided he would make it. hee hee He used a jar of spagetti sauce, a can of diet coke, dehydrated onion, garlic powder, carrots and potatoes in the bottom of the crock pot, roast on top the other ingredients on top of that, he then cooked it on high for 6 hours. Considering he didn't even know what the exact recipe was, it was pretty tasty and definitely tender and juicy. (next time I will make it myself the correct way) lol lol Definitely a keeper, he used a chuck roast. I had to smile... he was trying to please me? If he had only listened when I was reading the recipe to him last night? hahahaha

Cranberry Almond Bark

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
I thought the dark chocolate overpowered the whole thing......I think next try I would use all white bark. My opinion is personal preference, so please don't think I'm picking on the recipe. Considering all the rave reviews you have received the recipe is a keeper! Thanks

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

I have made this for years, it's the most requested salad/dessert for our family. I use a little bit larger glass pan, also 16 oz. of lite cool whip, otherwise everything else the same. I even get requests to bring this to pot luck's at work. Definitely a keeper, one we will continue to make for years to come!

Frank's Spicy Alabama Onion Beer Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2010
Wow I never knew chili could be this good? I did not add all of the jalepeno's, hot sauce or red pepper flakes, decided to start out slow, used 2 Jalepeno's, 1 T hot sauce and 1 T red pepper flakes, 1/4th of a red pepper and 1/4th of a yellow pepper for color, it was just the right amount of heat! We made several batches to serve at a special olympics fundraiser... wow the compliments we received....by far the best recipe I've ever tried! Thanks!!

Simple Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
I used half of a bell pepper and half of a red pepper, also a small jar of pimento and sliced up a cucumber in it. I made my sauce with more mayo, added sour cream and the vegetable packet, a little mustard and definitely needs a little sweetness so a little bit of sugar and of course plenty of salt and pepper. The brand of vegetable mix I used was McCormick, has real nice flavor and the veggies are tiny so you don't notice them in there. Very nice flavor!

DELICIOUS!! I doubled the recipe and made 2 packets. I used a mixed blend of cheese... Mexican Fiesta. Cooking time was a little longer than directions say. Will definitely make these again.. hubby doesn't like parmesean cheese, BUT he didn't even know it was in the recipe! :-) Thank you for a great recipe, it's definitely a KEEPER!

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
I have made this recipe now for several months...I was having trouble with the mixture sugaring after being in the oven for the hour, but I read somewhere's that if you use name brand brown sugar (such as C & H) I wouldn't have that problem... so I tried it and it's been working ever since! So use name brand brown sugar for a much better outcome!

Old-Fashioned Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
did not have parsley so didn't add it and didn't miss it at all. Fried in non stick pan sprayed with Pam, much healthier than oil...very very tasty and will definitely make again! be sure to stir the whole mixture before scooping out to fry.. I noticed my last one was rather peppery as the pepper settled, made it a little hot. Thanks for a great recipe, I used the food processor, did not rinse but drained potato and onlin real well before adding other ingredients. Definitely a keeper and I must say better tasting than Perkins potato pancakes!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
My very first attempt to make blueberry muffins from scratch, I must say they are way better than a mix ever thought of being? I upped the sugar to 1 cup. The topping makes more than needed, I think next time I will double the recipe and leave the topping the same. I got 10 nice big muffins from a single batch. I am making these for a baby shower brunch next week, thank you for posting the perfect recipe! Also remember do not stir it to death, just barely and is good enough, you get a real light fluffy muffin. The crumb topping really makes it perfect! Oh and I baked at 375 for 20 minutes.

Jammin' Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
I used a little olive oil to brown the meat/flour mixture. I also added a pint of tomato juice. Baby carrots worked well, cut them in half, for potatoes I used about 6 good sized peeled and chunked them up. I also only used a scant 1/4 cup of reg grape jelly, I"m glad I didn't put the 1/2 cup as stated in recipe I think would have ruined it making it too sweet for us. I also added 4 big stalks of chopped celery. Delicious stew (actually my first attempt) I will use this recipe from here on in! We had plenty of left over's and ate over rice one last time. Thank you for a great recipe!!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
Wonderful banana chocolate chip bread recipe! I used all butter and added one extra banana just because I didn't want to be left with just one straggler. I baked mine in 3 x 5 pans so I ended up with 7 pans. I only had one that didn't want to come out of the pan. Overall it's a great recipe! Thank you!
