I make this recipe often, because my British hubby grew up having scones for tea every day. Lately I've been dipping them in sugar before baking. It becomes more like a Snickerdoodle that way. I was doing the eggwash and a sprinkle of sugar as shown in the video, but just dipping them in sugar is easier and looks better.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2013
Awww, I started this recipe with 5 bananas but didn't realize I needed double that because I doubled the recipe. Once I realized I was in trouble I should have added cream or something to compensate for the lack of bananas. Instead I just kept on trying to combine the wet and dry ingredients and ended up over-beating the flour. Oh well, at least this time the guys won't eat it all in one afternoon. :-/ I'm giving it 4 stars for now, because really the recipe should say that 2 1/3 cups of bananas is about 4-5 bananas, which I didn't know until I watched the video a day later.
