WOW! This was FABULOUS!!! I only recently "discovered" curry and was looking for other interesting recipes that included it. This is now our favorite chicken salad recipe - chock full of textures and flavors, yummmmm! Thanks Maggie!!!

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
This soup is SO AWESOME! My husband was so skeptical when I was making it that he went and bought some drive thru -- then ate 2 bowls once he tasted it ;) All 3 of my kids (10, 8, and 4) LOVE this soup and get excited when I'm going to make it! You must double it - there'll never be enough if you don't! The only change I made was to use applesauce to get the flavor and sweetness but skip the chunks. Definitely a soul warming comfort food - YUM!!!

Microwave Corn Chowder

Comfort food at it's best! I add a little garlic too, and sometimes some sour cream or cream cheese at the end. Very, very yummy and easy!

Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2009
Four star rating is with the changes recommended in the reviews - extra vanilla, 1/4 c less flour, double the sugar (and I used brown), and a touch more milk (didn't have cream) than called for. I also used the traditional way of making muffins (alternating dry/wet ingredients) to whip these up. VERY yummy and tender as ever! They got gobbled up in no time!

Easy Peach Crisp I

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2009
Boy I wish I would've read the reviews first!!! This was WAAAAAAY too sweet! Next time (and there will be a next time, the flavor is wonderful) I won't be adding any extra sugar - just let the peach juices and the cake mix sweeten it up!

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2009
These were easy to put together (not sure why people are having trouble with them spreading so?). They came out picture perfect after 10 minutes. Unfortunately they were more like tender crumbly cookies than chewy :( Not bad, just not what I was looking for. Thanks anyway!

Marinated Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2008
This is WONDERFUL!!! I dislike raw cauliflower, but this looked interesting so we decided to try it. Now I look forward to getting cauliflower just to have this salad!!! Very very yummy and something different to add to the table! Try it! You'll be pleasantly surprised!

Farmer's Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
This was fabulous with the following changes: I doubled the recipe (to feed my family of 5 -- big eaters) and used a 9X13 baking dish. Because of the reviews of wateriness I only used 1 c of milk (after doubling of course) and baked for a full hour for everything to set. To the egg mixture I added one can of green chilis and a handful of dried onions. Everyone loved this, and it was quite filling (we had about a serving of leftovers). Very quick and easy -- thank you!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
I've been making this recipe for several years now for holidays, and it always gets rave reviews - from both those that like the "normal" green bean casserole, and those that don't! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Spicy Potato Soup I

Reviewed: May 8, 2005
My rating is based on the recipe with the following changes: 2 cans chopped green chilis instead of the serrano chilis, 2 cans beef broth instead of the water (8c would have been way too much liquid for our liking), added cumin and chili powder. With those changes/additions, this was a wonderful soup, very warm and comforting! Not spicy at all this way, just good!

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2004
This is absolutely awesome! It is almost like a popular steakhouse in our area (who serves their steak at $50 per plate) but BETTER!!! I can't believe how wonderful this was -- will absolutely not eat steak another way again! Kudos to you Craig! ~~ ps - I also used soy sauce and it was perfectly sweet!

Baked Chicken Thermidor

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2004
Very, very yummy! I made this recipe when I wanted a comforting food -- boy did I find it! I was afraid it was going to taste "canned soupy" but not at all. I did make the following changes: no water chesnuts, no pimento, chicken broth instead of wine, italian bread crumbs instead of the white bread, and Monterey Jack for cheese. I also added 4 potatoes that I cubed and nuked a bit while I was chopping the rest. Absolutely divine - unfortunately I had to share!

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: May 25, 2004
I would absolutely give this more than 5 stars if it were an option! To die for! I originally tried this recipe for Mother's Day to mimick a drink that my mom fell in love with, but I got addicted!!! I DO NOT go without this mix on hand!!!
